Over 25 years of success
From humble beginnings on a 1.5-acre property in Armadale, Western Australia, where the company founder bred fish as a hobby, it was decided to 'go commercial'. In November 1984 a nearby 6.75-acre property with a running stream was acquired and a more elaborate goldfish and lily farm was established
.
In 1991 the business purchased a 2.5-acre site in Balcatta to house what grew into an 800sqm water gardening superstore and by 1993 the product range had expanded to include all manner of water gardening hardware to satisfy growing consumer demand for superior and specialised products.

Three years later another store was opened in Victoria Park, Western Australia and the business continued to evolve over the next decade to become one of Australia's largest producers of aquatic plants and breeders of ornamental and native fish.

Today, Water Garden World is recognised as the Western Australian water gardening specialist and a leader in its field.
It sets the industry benchmark by which all others are judged.
